Pictures from my Tampa trip are finally up. Go HERE to see them.

Things have been a bit hectic around my way lately. I have been so busy. B has gymnastics, S needs to get ready for his football camps, having to lay a patio, getting my house work done, cooking out, birthday parties, cheerleading banquet - fun stuff, yet a lot of stuff.

Thursday me and the kids went grocery shopping. As B was looking at what lunchable she wanted she slips on a puddle of water hitting her ribs on the metal part that holds the food in the cold section. Bruised immediatley crys of terror are heard throughout the store. I go fill out an incident report and I am told I will be contacted in the next day if not that night.

Yesterday we go to the Targe.t to get me some summer shirts for work. The girls go use the restroom and on there way back are running towards me. I put out my hands in the stop position and tell them to stop running - as I said it the second time, I see B run face first into a fire extinguisher and slam backwards to the ground. I think I almost puked! It was one of the most horrifying things I have ever seen - the way she ran full force in to that metal thing was sickning. I ran her to the food area and immedialty put ice on it. The bruise was already nasty. Thank the lord it didnt break the skin and that was only by the grace of G.O.D.!! So off I go again to fill out another incident report. HOLY SMOKE!! enough already.

The BD's sister has a son and he turned 1 this past weekend so we went to that. I am the only fair skinned person at the function and that is normally how it has always been - I really pay it no mind. One of the aunts arrived and after a few minutes says to me "where are all the white people, HAHAHAHA" I then said "I guess I am it, hehe" she then proceeds to tell me I dont count! LOL That is funny to me because it amazing how people see color. Some white people would see me as white no natter how you slice it and other because of my choice would dismiss me as being one within their race - I "assume" out of some sort of shame for the choice I have made. My kids dont even see me as "white". As they were growing up I would teach them they were brown, and I was tan and there daddy was dark brown. They acutally tell their friends I am mixed and the kids believe them, HAHAHA.

Cheerleading is over now - the girls loved it and will miss it. I dont know if we will do it again but I guess time will tell and we will see.

I am excited about this weekend and the cookouts galore that will be happening! Come on summer!
